Volunteering

The many young people who come through our Young Leaders Programme (YLP) are encouraged and supported as they continue as young leaders and take on more responsibility in their youth groups and clubs, and also encouraged to consider further volunteering opportunities to develop their leadership skills.​

We know from their feedback to us that by supporting them they feel more empowered and confident to take on more responsibility in supporting their peers, other people in their local community and wider organisations that inspire them.

Some of our previous Young Leaders have gone on to become Youth Club leaders running a youth club and helping to manage other volunteers!
